Experian mails the dispute results to your home address. Please look out for a white envelope – usually unmarked.
We promise – there’s a method to our madness. Due to the scientific approach of our AI engine, we have found three to be the optimal number. This makes it less likely for the bureaus to flag your account as frivolous, as well as helps feed the algorithm so subsequent rounds will be more effective (a fancy way of saying we use past results to get smarter). Think of Dovly AI as a sniper – we target items and get them methodically removed. We’ve proven time and again that our approach is significantly more effective. Just stick with us and be patient. If it can be removed, we’ll get it off your report!
As a Premium member, you can refresh your credit report weekly. If you continue to see an item on your credit report that was marked as deleted, please be patient and wait until your next scheduled report refresh date to see its removal.
When a dispute comes back “Verified as accurate”, it means the bureaus have checked with the creditor and found the reported information to be correct. But – you’re in luck – our Premium plan allows you to “re-dispute.” Just select the item you want to re-dispute, choose a reason code, and we’ll take it from there!
We don’t recommend disputing hard inquiries for a couple of reasons. While hard inquiries will usually stay on your credit report for two years, they only affect your score for about six months to a year. Therefore, removing a hard inquiry over a year old may not raise your score. Additionally, disputing an inquiry could remove the tradeline altogether, and potentially hurt your credit. You must consider the potential consequences before disputing a hard inquiry.
In unusual situations, items that have been successfully deleted from your credit reports can resurface. Generally, if you’ve managed to remove something from your credit reports, there’s likely a valid reason for its removal. According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the credit bureau is required to notify you before re-reporting a previously deleted entry. If a questionable credit item is later verified, Dovly AI will assist you in challenging it once more, provided there are valid reasons to do so.
